Very good

Liked: Location quite beautiful. Managing family welcoming, cordial.
Disliked: No place for breakfast --- had to use the grocery store deli.

Superb

Liked: The team working here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Really appreciated their easy kindness and just having a calm check-in process as we got in after dark. Very cute cups of freshly planted daffodils blooming in the lobby and in every room. This is a sweet little spot to stay for any visit you make passing through Happy Camp.

Disliked: Need new mattresses

Disliked: The property is very basic and reflects the overall poverty in the community where standards are very basic at best

Liked: Basic, but complete and comfortable. Parking in front of room.
Disliked: Outside looks rough, but everything was good inside.

The Forest Lodge Motel is...

Liked: The Forest Lodge Motel was a good spot for us to stay for the night as we were on a loop trip in that area. A basic, no frills motel, but serviceable. Beds are comfortable and town gets really quiet at night.
Disliked: Could be a bit cleaner. Our room was by the picnic table/grill area (which is a nice addition for travelers) but it can get a bit loud with some of the folks using it. They did quiet down at a decent hour which was helpful. I forgot my shampoo and cream rinse. None provided in room.

Liked: one of the only accommodations in the area.

Excellent place to stay and...

Liked: Old, but every comfort you need, and clean, well maintained. Had a full kitchen with anything needed, even had a gas grill available.Shower was wonderful.
Disliked: Nothing lacking.
