Liked: Dee Dee was absolutely fantastic! She greeted us and took extremely good care of is throughout our stay. She is kind, solution oriented, competent and enthusiastic. The history, art and accommodations were excellent. The breakfast was great also.
Disliked: We understand that this is a historic hotel but we didn’t realize there was no elevator and one of our party is blind. She didn’t mind the stairs because she likes Dee Dee so much!

Disliked: The bed was very squeaky. Couldn’t move without it making a noise.

Good boutique hotel in excellent...

Liked: Wonderful old house with lots of wood and antique furniture. Excellent location.
Disliked: Almost zero water pressure in the shower. Advertised afternoon wine reception but that did not happen—claimed new ownership was awaiting a liquor license. TV too complicated to be very usable.

Liked: Nicely decorated, liked the lobby, great location. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Breakfast mediocre and bed was ridiculously high, although comfortable. We had stayed here 20 years ago on our honeymoon and thought it was no longer as elegant as earlier.
