Disappointing

Liked: The staff super helpful
Disliked: The room had a strong musty smell, as if it hadn't been aired out in a long time, which made the stay uncomfortable. The overall maintenance of the property seems neglected — it feels like a place with charm that has been left to decay.Photos online are not an accurate reflection of the reality. For the price I paid, I expected much better conditions and care. Had I known, I would have chosen a different place.

Liked: The hotel restaurant is excellent, not only the breakfast is tasty, the menu impresses even more. Polite and helpful staff in the hotel and in the restaurant , comfortable bed, calm room, the hotel is located in beautiful historical building.

Disliked: No air conditioning and curtains broken so with windows open overnight woken by really noisy trams at 5am.It says parking available but doesn’t mention it’s very limited and you need to prebook

Perfect stay

Liked: It was amazing! Hotel is perfect for city break. So beautiful you feel like in movie. Food was delicious. Sauna very relaxing!!

Faded charm for a fair...

Liked: I like the faded charm of old grand hotels, and this one has plenty of it. In particular the restaurant where also the breakfast is served is spectacular. That said, I can't afford the price of grand hotels that are kept up to standard, and this one isn't, so you must be willing to compromise, but you get a fair price. There is a lift, and the WiFi worked well. The breakfast had a rich selection of fish dishes and cakes, which I particularly liked.
Disliked: As I said above, the hotel is not up to standard. You come here when you like the building, not for modernity: The bath room needs a revamp, the water pressure is on the lower end, and there is no air conditioning (but they give you a fan, and you can open the windows). You use an actual key to open the door. I didn't mind these things, but you need to be aware. One thing I did miss was a safe. The location is a bit weird. While technically in the centre, there is no public transport directly nearby to go e.g. to the station.
