Ok for a short stay

Liked: In NYC, with its super high accomodation prices, this hotel is a good price for its quality, especially minding the fact of having your own bathroom in the room. The bed linen and towels were clean. The room was cleaned every day. There was a kettle and tea in the room, and some very basic breakfast was suggested (which was a pleasant surprise I didn't know about when booking). The iron was brought to me at my request. There was even a safe, though I didn't use it. The area is overall fine, and it was quiet when I stayed. The temperature in the room was ok, and the beds were fine to sleep in. There's a new TV in the room, with YouTube. For a short period it's ok to stay here.
Disliked: The windows are impossible to open to get some fresh air. The bathroom was not clean enough, I found some other hairs on the floor, so the cleaning could be definitely improved. I mentioned a basic breakfast as a plus, but if you come closer to 9 am or after it, as I did, you'll hardly find anything left, and it's not being replenished.

I wasted my money.

Liked: None.
Disliked: I do not recommend. Never stay at this hotel. Very old. The rooms are terrible. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls. It is unclear if there was ever an inspection. For 4 people they gave only two sets of towels. I regret not reading the reviews before booking this hotel. I paid $160 for one night and expected better service. Photos do not reflect the actual condition.
