Nice hotel, poor management.

Liked: Location in green suburb, nice views over the Rhine, comfortable modern room.
Disliked: Reception had not received our request for early check-in and refused to do anything about it when we arrived at 12h. It can’t take 3h to prepare a room. Lunch on the terrace was total chaos, lack of staff. We waited 40 min for a salad. Not a nice arrival at all. The Fletcher is clearly not customer service oriented. Van Der Valk hotels are much better at that.

A wonderful and relaxing surprise!

Liked: I was expecting a pretty standard accommodation, but I was amazingly surprised when I drove there. Between a forest and the Rhine, the location is very calming, very quiet, hearing the birds singing when the window is open. Super friendly staff, super affordable, super comfy!! Free parking on the premises.
Disliked: Honesly, nothing! Would have stayed longer.

Good stay as a base...

Liked: The room assigned to us had a great view of the plain in the morning. Carpark was free with ample slots available, which was a great help for driving travellers like us. The room came with very basic amenities like soap and towels, coffee maker only. The water pressure was great and wifi was working well from within the room. Check-in and out were smooth.
Disliked: The TV console in the room was getting loose, we had to be careful not to put anything heavy, it seemed the whole table would give way if we did. The cleanliness could have been improved, we found a used and wet towel in the bathroom. Slippers were not provided to guests, the tile floor was pretty cold, weather was about 9 to 11 degree during our stay.

Good stay as a base in Wageningen, expect basic amenities and free carpark.

Disliked: Some things made me guess is this really 4 star hotel ,. Like no coffee cups ! How can I make coffee and tea if there is only 2 paper cups. No mini fridge and breakfast was really poor. Also really have a question who but the duck in the bath ( it was ridiculous) it had no purpose it was ugly it ruined the romantic vibe . We really wondered what was on this person ming to but that there.
