Disappointing

Liked: Clean linens on the beds
Disliked: The shower wasn't working in my room, the room smelled of chemical cleaner and cigarette smoke, and the cleanliness of the room was wanting.

Wouldn’t stay here again. People...

Disliked: No hot water for showering. Needs room updates badly. Everything old like taps, lights, old style air conditioner. The toilets are the height for toddlers. Nice view of dumpster from room.

Very Disappointed

Liked: There was a gas station close to get snacks at.
Disliked: The price of the room was 3 times the price as it is now. I know there were events in town, but that is just wrong. The parking lot is too small for the number of rooms, hard to find parking. The hotel was dirty, every hallway you went down there was a different smell.The minute you walked in the room, you could smell the smoke from previous guestsThe room has stains on the chair, looked like the mirrors were wiped down with a dirty cloth, there was toothpaste, or some substance on the shelves in the bathroom, the pillows looked like someone had already slept on them.There was no remote for the TV, the picture quality on the TV was horrible.

Terrible Experience – Stay Away!...

Liked: We only like housekeeping staff, very friendly.
Disliked: Reception staff, facilities, breakfast, room, luck of parking spots, no coffee, tea/sugar in room, wifi is horrible!

DID NOT STAY HERE BECAUSE...

Liked: NOTHING !!!! GROSS- WE HAD TO LEAVEIT SMELLED LIKE BATHROOM CHERRY DEODORIZER I walked in and they asked me to pay a 300.00 deposit on a 300.00 room.The pool was closed there was a second pool that was dirty including black dirt floating in the corners of it The ‘jacuzzi’ had been painted with house paint.The lady at the desk was dishonest with me and was acting so weird which now I know why.
Disliked: The concierge was really horrible to me.When I got to the room saw the conditions and then found one pool empty and full of construction materials and the 2nd pool gross, DIRTY with tiles falling and wood trim laying on the floor?!! They refused to refund my money but my family and I had to leave - the entire place smelled like Cherry bathroom deodorizerDISGRACFUL WHY IS THIS PROPERTY ON BOOKING.COM? I will be adding all my comments with hashtags on all my social media platforms.I am still requesting a refund but the hold and the room charge is still on my card.

Liked: Front desk staff were very friendly, the bed was comfortable, walking distance to a number of restaurants, both fast food, family dining, and fine dining, and conveniently located near highway 1. I also like that most rooms have either their own outside door on the ground floor, or a balcony on the 2nd floor. The price was reasonable for what you get.
Disliked: I have stayed at this property 3 times in the past 22 years, under 3 different names, and I don't think much has been done to it since the first time. It did appear that these owners may be starting to do some work on the property, but currently, everything is still very dated and somewhat run down. I'm not sure how long the property has had the current owners, but it did change names within the last 2 years. Our room was the closest to Highway 1, and traffic noise was a bit of a bother early at night. My previous stays were further back from the highway, and traffic noise was almost nonexistent, so it may be helpful to request a room further back in the building.
