Liked: Cozy and clean.

Pleasant people, room needs serious...

Liked: The staff was welcoming and friendly, but not able to take care of issues that we reported. While I do understand that our stay was VERY short, I am hopeful that these problems will be taken care of for the next guest.
Disliked: The bathroom fan looked as though it was never cleaned. It was covered in dust, and a lot of dust was literally hanging off of it. Not good. The toilet was loose, as well as the toilet seat. The furnishings were quite old and had odor. The TV is SO FAR AWAY from the bed that it was kind of a "blur" to watch it. We did not go to the breakfast bar in the morning because we were told that our discounted rate didn't include that. In my opinion, the cost of the room was very high after taking into consideration the things I've mentioned.

Disliked: Ice machine not working. Wish they had premium channels for TV.

Liked: Room was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable.
Disliked: I didn't stay for breakfast though I would have been happy to pay more to have better breakfast options.

Liked: The room had nice amenities.The breakfast room said open at 8 but they were open at 730, which was great because we wanted to get on the road
Disliked: The bulb was out in the bathroom so we could only use the heat lamp on a timer.The ice machine was broken

Liked: It was quiet
Disliked: The tub was dirty and clogged and staff didn’t seem to care. There was only one coffee pod for three nights and no service between nights

Exceptional

Liked: One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at. Comfortable bedding. Fridge and microwave in room.
Disliked: The walkway carpet was dingy and missing spots if they could fix that it would be great. Also my light flickered the entire time.

Great place to stay in...

Liked: The location is really perfect for an Ashland overnighter. We had a pet friendly room, everything was clean and comfortable, for the most part in a pet friendly room. The continental breakfast had more options than most hotels which is always a bonus.
Disliked: I really wish hotels allowed the pet friendly rooms to be just as nice as the non-pet friendly rooms. Because you're bringing a pet, that means you usually get the very basic room, with no carpet/or extra cozy furnishings. I stayed here for work in the past and remembered this place because it was really nice and comfortable. It still was comfortable and convenient on our road trip, but it really does bum me out when the pet friendly rooms just seem more sub-par even when you have to pay extra. Other than that, it was still very nice.
