Liked: The property is really good and at a great location. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Disliked: Quite disappointed with the Dinner and Restaurant. Long wait 1.5 hours and below par food, contrary to what all reviews suggest.

Superb

Inoffensive but forgettable

Liked: It’s a very attractive property in beautiful countryside. The rooms are nicely decorated and I felt well maintained. We had twin beds, one was really comfortable the other much less so.The pool was decent but the whole place felt a little chilly, probably down to the change of season.All of the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Disliked: The restaurant was a little pricey given the quality. I always think tea and coffee should be free as a guest. It wouldn’t cost them much and just makes you feel more welcome . The hotel just lacks a level of charm that could take it to the next level. Maybe some nice smells or a bit more warmth on arrival. Being showed to the room. It was nice but just very forgettable.

Pretty countryside location

Liked: Pretty location, room fresh and bright, breakfast good. Staff super helpful.
Disliked: Felt bar could have been extended and more of a feature . Bed and pillows rather dense.

Great location, beautiful building but...

Liked: Charming country hotel with swimming pool
Disliked: Somewhat tired feeling bedrooms albeit spacious. Standard definition TV. Unable to watch netflix or chromecast which for a £200 a night hotel I would expect. Poor wifi in room. Staff friendly but various delays for staple items at breakfast like butter for example

Bad

Liked: The reception was not manned and we had to wait for 15 minutes I had phoned the hotel 3 times to advise we had a disabled Daugther and although booked a room on the ground floor there were steps everywhere so she would have had no access to the hotel facilities- in the event we had to leave and find accessible accommodation elsewhere and after much discussion were given a full refund. Not happy with the service or attitude.

Perfect place to stay or...

Liked: Just staff freindly helpfull lovely hotel they just go out there way make you have lovely stay with them nothing was a problem lovely will be back 😊 Having the spa really bonus
Disliked: To short lol
