Disappointing for the amount of...

Liked: The location was fine. Where I was felt a bit isolated.
Disliked: The breakfast and dining room which wasn’t heated.

Cosy stay in a beautiful...

Liked: Fitzroy Inn is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Southern Highlands. It’s a beautiful property with lots of history. The pictures do not do it justice! We loved the different lounge areas and being able to finish the night by the fire. We were in the attic room which was nice and large. The heater kept it very warm! The breakfast was just continental, a warm breakfast in winter would make this 10/10. We walked into town for dinner which was about a 20 minute walk. Would recommend and would happily stay again!

Liked: Very beautiful property, convenient location and sweet old dachshunds to greet you
Disliked: The room was a little unclean for the price. There was a crunched up sugar wrapper on the bedside table and a number of hairs around the sink and on the towels. For almost $300 a night the room really should be immaculate.

Liked: The historic nature of the property was interesting. The gardens and grounds were good to walk around. Our little dog was allowed everywhere . The staff were happy for us to upgrade our room.Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The room we had booked was not safe for us as it was up a very steep, narrow staircase. This should have been included in the description of the room.

Gorgeous weekend getaway

Liked: Everything was gorgeous! Love the history and how it is presented. Breakfast was great. The room was comfortable, with a gorgeous outlook.
Disliked: Nothing!
