The location was great. Friendly staff. Cute little room. The price was also good. I will come back.
Disliked: It needed updating but that's probably why the price is good.

Great location, great value –...
Liked: Perfect Stay in the Heart of San FranciscoThis hotel was exactly what we needed for our week in San Francisco – clean, comfortable, and centrally located. It made getting around the city so easy, and we loved how everything we needed was within walking distance. The staff was friendly, the room was just right, and overall, it was the perfect base for exploring the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and hassle-free stay!

Horrific! Don’t believe the photographs.
Liked: Eric, the receptionist who checked us out was very friendly. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not.
Disliked: Where do I start…?Unfriendly welcome on arrival. The receptionist on duty couldn’t even crack a smile or say please/ thank you.The building itself is very run down. Not at all like the pictures.Strange smell (musty, dirty, unclean) on entering the building. An archaic lift/elevator. It felt like a death trap. You could lose a finger (or a whole arm) on the metal sliding cage door. Now to the room…We were asked to leave a £150 deposit to cover breakages. What a joke! The walls were covered with damage and greasy smears. Paint was peeling and there were scuffs, holes and stains on the walls.Even though the bed sheets appeared to be clean, the rest of the room did not give that impression. We felt the need to wear shoes all the time. The heat! The room conditioning is an open window on an extremely busy street. We were there in March. I can’t even imagine what it would be like in the hotter months. The noise! There are no words… imagine sleeping on a recycling plant, where truck loads of glass is being dumped from a tipper truck throughout the night. Sirens blaring. People shouting. Dogs barking. As we needed the window open (due to the heat), it felt like they were in the room with us. The bathroom appeared to be clean, but very old and dated. The light fitting above the sink was hanging off the wall and flickered every time it was turned on. As bad as the hotel is inside the area outside is equally horrible. Not suitable for solo travellers, families or female travellers. We were in SF for 5 nights. Thankfully we had only booked this hotel for 1 night as we wanted to make sure we liked it first. We had a lucky escape as we then moved to an incredible hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf.

Good price and location for...
Liked: Good location and cost.
Disliked: Old tired looking room, the shower was cold/warm temperature at max and the WIFI was incredibly slow/kept dropping out from the 5th Floor.

Good
Liked: Great location and good value. Helpful staff.
Disliked: Breakfast basic as expected but what was available varied hugely. Some porridge sachets, branflakes, fruits and yoghurts available for a couple of days and then not.
