Liked: The location near to the seaside.
Disliked: No comment

Food great , service poor...

Liked: Village retreat.food great although sold out, when we decided to eat. Breakfast delayed due to Chef needing to go and buy food from village butcher.
Disliked: Garden full of tourist and local kids using the garden, no quiet area for residents. The bar was the same , very rough with locals swearing badly . No Staff , had to wait for everything as the one female employee was run off her feet.

Liked: The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom area and great tea and coffee making facilities. The TV had cable channels .Staff were very friendly and accommodating for gluten free options at breakfast. The graden area was lovely to sit and have a drink in
Disliked: we shared that there was drip on the guttering at night when it rained which they were going to fix

Liked: Beautiful old property in a quiet and peaceful village
Disliked: The rooms were warm and although I don’t expect AC in an historic building in the UK it was a struggle to sleep both nights and seemed steep at £300+

Nice hotel in lovely location.

Liked: Rooms were good size with complimentary mineral water & biscuits and nice views.Lovely location.
Disliked: Had to ask for change of room as no shower in first one, only bath with shower attachment so not possible to have proper shower. They did change room for us.Breakfast was good, but Monday evening meal was disappointing as items on menu that we wanted were not available and dishes we had were not the quality we expected. Sundays meal was good however.

Liked: Very elegant and comfortable hotel with delightful rooms. We have also loved having dinner there: delightful!

Liked: Lovely building, great breakfast and good evening meal. Nice garden and location. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good value and we would return.
Disliked: No useful sized drawers in the bedroom. Dinner was in the bar which was initially noisy ( one particularly strident female) but it fortunately quietened down.
