Good

Liked: The room was very spacious, the double bed very firm and comfortable, bedding high quality and very clean. The building has charm and surrounding trees are beautiful. There's also a swimming pool and sauna
Disliked: Everything is a little shabby, the common areas not very clean, the pool and its facilities are especially in need of cleaning and refurbishment

Pleasant

Liked: Breakfast was delicious. Room was clean. Pool was clean and a nice temperature.
Disliked: Hotel is dated but that wasn’t a problem for me.

Liked: Nice breakfast, nice room on the ground floor with access to a small, enclosed garden which was very handy for the dog.Lovely old building with lots of character contained in nice well kept gardens. Very handy facilities included a pool and gym. There was an abundance of free car parking that did not require being reserved or booked in advance.
Disliked: Didn't particularly like booking a set time slot in advance for breakfast the following day, but this isn't a deal breaker, I would definitely stay here again. Excellent location, facilities and staff.

Liked: Nothing unfortunately
Disliked: The property is in dire need of updating. Dirty, paint peeling and damp black mould. The pictures on booking.com are extremely dated, not giving a true picture of the place.

Such a shame as this...

Liked: Lovely location and setting. Lovely from the outside but disappointing once inside.
Disliked: Unfortunately the inside is very tired and needs updating. The room was small with dated furniture and fixtures. Very noisy with banging doors. The pool ( the reason for choosing the hotel ) was unfortunately not clean with several dead bugs in it.

Lovely building that has bags...

Liked: the look of the building and some of the features, breakfast.
Disliked: Arrival could of been better, rooms need drastic updating, no bar or restaurant , grounds need looking at from a window perspective.

Pleasant

Liked: It is a cheap option if you want to visit Bath, as Bath would have cost a lot more. This was not a long drive from Bath.
Disliked: The place is a bit worn, and the pool was closed which was a shame.

Dirty

Disliked: Room was not cleaned properly bins not emptied and to top it off bathroom bin was full of used sanitary towels disgustingTV didn't work properly
