Nice stay, comfortable beds and...

Liked: Nice location in quiet small town (or village). Our room was at the back, overlooking the gardens (and the cat who was looking up at me). The room was spacious and very comfortable. Everything needed was there. Very comfortable shower as well. Our host made a very good breakfast. She even booked us a table at the local pub, after reminding us that it might be busy on a Saturday evening.From here, we drove to P&R (Designer Outlet) York and from there we were within 20 minutes in York centre (Dungeon bus stop).

Excellent, cozy B&B .......

Liked: Everything, Maria is an excellent host. A small cozy B&B not far from Howden in a quiet village. My twin room was immaculate with plenty of coffee, tea and milk supplied. Safe parking opposite adjacent to the village green. Maria's full English breakfast was cooked to perfection - she also booked me a table at the Black Swan (a 3 minutes walk) which is a decent friendly pub.I would definitely return to Field View.
Disliked: Leaving, difficult to get a room with only two rooms available.

Liked: Maria was an incredible hostess, and the breakfasts were amazing! The Easter bunny visited during our stay, which was over Easter. My son was thrilled.

Liked: The location was perfect, peaceful and quiet, in a little village with a lovely pub and deli cafe. Maria was an excellent host, very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was amazing, both the full English and the continental! The garden room was lovely light and airy and spotlessly clean. Parking was great and free
