Disappointing

Disliked: It was cold

You get what you pay...

Liked: Good location close to town
Disliked: Room was a little less than impressive cold lights weren’t working properly and had a funny odour beds were ok but no heating other than two little heaters upstairs and downstairs so was pretty cold for the price thoe its ok but if you plan on spending more time in the room other than sleeping wouldn’t recommend

Didn't stay as it didn't...

Disliked: The place had poor lighting, there were holes in the walls in the bathroom, we turned the stove on and it was that dirty that it set the smoke alarms off. Small heater to heat the whole place, wasn't very nice. Bugs flying all around the rooms, beds and bedding didn't look very nice, certainly not worth what we paid for. We didn't end up staying and had to find somewhere else for the night. So ended up having to pay for two motels because Ferry Motels were not as they are described on Booking Com

Passable

Liked: The owner was super friendly and nice. Location was great. Bed was a little small but comfy. The shower was better then it looked.
Disliked: Was a little rough holes in the wall, bit chilly needed more then one heater, couch was a little dirty. The price was good, just expected a little bit more.

Good service and staffs are...

Liked: Very clean and tidy. Not much expensive.
Disliked: Lights

Not a bad stay

Liked: Great host, finally human interaction! Not the best location for Christchurch but it's good value for money.
Disliked: Would be good to have a bathroom door. As there was only a shower curtain and the shower area was very small. There was no place to hang the towel during shower.

Liked: Great location, central to everywhere we needed to be. Lovely staff, really helpful and friendly.
