Expectations not met

Liked: The pool slide
Disliked: The room was not what I expected! The fridge was doing terrible noises at midnight and I couldn’t sleep!Breakfast was no good! Options were so limited, the oranges were almost rotten! The “playroom” is no fun at all! I needed to dump some water and as there was 0 personal I went in the back on the breakfast bar and the place was filthy! I wouldn’t call the place “resort”! It is just like regular motels but with a pool and a slide.For the price I payed I thought it was going to be much better!

Disliked: Its really old, breakfast is not as good, limited amount of shampoo, body wash, and lotion theres a family of 5 and were told we can only get one. It was stingy.

Exceptional

Liked: Absolutely loved our stay here! The location is great—close to everything we needed—but the real highlight was the pool and hot tub area. The slide pool was a big hit with the kids, they didn’t want to leave! Everything was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Great place for a family...

Liked: It's a nice hotel with good amenities, pool, and hot tub. Comfy beds, lots of parking and very close to the ski hill or town. But the rooms are getting a little beat up and are in need of a refresh soon.
Disliked: Breakfast is very basic, toast, cereals, hard boiled eggs, and waffles. Rooms again are getting beat up, warn out, and need better upkeep & repair. Hopefully they start doing major refresh to the rooms soon. On the plus side, The Fernie Fox just announced a 50 room addition coming for 2026!

Great room but sad the...

Liked: We loved our room with the view of the river. It was quiet and comfortable.
Disliked: We were really looking forward to a nice Indian meal at the hotel’s on site Indian restaurant, as we had in the past. Unfortunately they have recently changed the menu and the food, though decent was disappointing compared to how good it had been in the past, and was definitely on the expensive side.
