Feather Factory Hotel

Would not come back.

Liked: There were some 24h snacks to be purchased in the lobby. Staff was nice. Breakfast was decent (long line though).
Disliked: Hotel is waaaaaay overpriced (like so many other hotels in NYC these days). The building looks like an old factory or office building transformed into a hotel. The ceiling in our room was so high and weird. It is not close to anything and it doesn't feel really safe to walk around at night. It is VERY overpriced.

Liked: Cleanliness and proximity to public transportation
Disliked: Breakfast. Despite the chef was polite, proactively and professional (doing well his job) the way to manage breakfast à la carte ordering and waiting for foods to be ready, gets the queu long and not manageable

Good location but noisy

Liked: The lobby was good and free tea and coffee. Not too far from subway station
Disliked: Very noisy hotel. Externally due to proximity to train lines and internally due to air con and ventilation. Not a good night's sleep !

Liked: Clean, updated, not too far from trains.
Disliked: Area doesn’t feel the safest. Got followed back to the hotel by a small group of people after dark. Would have appreciated a do not disturb sign. Loud noise from nearby trains/overnight construction.
