Liked: Lovely small hotel, nice rooms, a few creaky floorboards but added to the charm and very well presented in decoration and style. Lots of seating outside and a good menu offering. Only there for 1 night but would happily go back for a bit longer. Has a car charging point and a noce local pub 5 mins down the road.Very quite and peaceful and tucked away far enough away from main road traffic. A little gem :)
Disliked: Wish the restaurant was open just a little longer as it closed at 8pm.

Liked: It was quite obviously a new room and it was gorgeous, with beautiful view on to well maintained gardens.
Disliked: There was no iron in my room and as I was visiting on business I wanted to be smart, tried to get one the night before with no joy and had to hang around in the morning whilst they located the iron after guests checked out, not brilliant.

Liked: We had Chestnut which was a garden room and was delightful. The dinner in the evening was exceptional. The lady who dealt with us on Reception when we arrived and later served us in the Restaurant was very professional and friendly.

Liked: The surroundings were as usual stunning
Disliked: The hotel is looking tired,I appreciate that it's an 18th century building but things like towels etc need sprucing up etcThe fact that I originally booked for two nights and extended our stay I would have liked a little discount having stayed at the Farthings about 4times in total
