Cozy Home with Hospitable Host

Liked: -Convenient location. Very close to the spa we were going to. -We had a late check-in. The host stayed up late to accommodate us.-The host recommended us Pacini for breakfast which is about 5 min drive from her place. We really enjoyed the bread bar there and had it for breakfast for two days.-Had our own thermostat, mini fridge with bottled water, and a microwave (did not use the microwave as we were told there is a chance it might trip the breaker)
Disliked: Less privacy as you will be sharing space with the host. Not a big deal for me though, the host was lovely and accommodating.

Good value though lacks privacy

Liked: Nicole was fantastic. Personally texted us to arrange Time of arrival, then guided us in as there was a lot of construction with road closures nearby. She was a wealth of knowledge helping plan of visit of the area, Hull and Ottawa. Her ideas saved us much headache. Free parking. A couple of great restaurants nearby.The hostess was the tipping point for a positive stay.
Disliked: There is a lack of privacy, but to be fair, we did know ahead of time that there are more rooms available in this house and the description mentions the rooms we booked had a shared bathroom. What we did not know was that the shared bathroom for these two basement rooms is a small private 3pc with access only through the farthest bedroom. The other bedroom guests were allowed to share the main floor bathroom so no awkward situations arose for us. I'm not sure if you are able to book just one of these rooms, and then if the other is also able to be booked to a stranger it would be very weird? You have to travel through each other's space to use the shared facilities. So, if you are wanting a private space this may not be for you.

Liked: The best host I ever had in my life . She is very kind and generous. She treats you like you are part of her family. Very welcoming and caring . On top of that the place is quiet and comfortable.
