Appreciate the authenticity if the...

Disliked: Towels colour were grey, instead of white;When we check in & choose an early breakfast( 7:30) they did not mentioned that the option will be limited.

Liked: Falls of Lora hotel is in a great location with lovely views to the front of the hotel and only a short drive into Oban. The food is excellent both in the hotel dining room and in the bistro and the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable and the view from our window was lovely.
Disliked: The only downside for us was that the hotel doesn't have a lift and as our room was on the second floor my husband who has mobility issues found it pretty strenuous getting to our room. However it wouldn't prevent us staying again but in a ground floor room next time.

Beautiful Hotel, Great room, great...

Liked: Beautiful Hotel right on Connel Bridge and close to Oban.Great Spacious Double room with lovely views as well as a lovely Floral terrace to sit and enjoy a drink.Amazing comfortable bar and restaurant with a unique open pit fireplace in the centre.Excellent parking.
Disliked: Lunchtime you had to have a table to buy a drink, as it was table service only, which was a bit strange as the bar was long and well equipped.But not a problem as we were seated and it took no time at all to be served.

A pleasant surprise to find...

Liked: Clean, comfortable, well maintained, delightful staff. Very nice pleasant residents lounge. Good food. General ambience of competence and attention to detail.
Disliked: Almost nothing.
