It's a very cozy place...

Liked: The old-fashioned decor, plush furniture and bedding, shelves of books about travel, animals, the Civil War, etc, a fire going in the fireplace so the room was warm, all were appealing. The peaceful surroundings and views were nice. Breakfast included extras like fruit and lemon cake.
Disliked: I would have liked brighter lighting for reading the books.

I had a comfortable stay...

Liked: It was a self-check-in, I didn't meet the staff so I can't rate them but the check-in was smooth and easy. The property is beautiful set far back off the main route and peaceful and quiet.
Disliked: Self serve breakfast was unimpressive.

Liked: The location is very nice and quiet. The Innkeeper is very friendly.
