Liked: We went for a golf weekend at Bear Mountain. Our choice of hotels for convenience (location, kitchen)was Fairways Hotel on the Mountain instead of The Westin. Staff friendly.Parking $10/day
Disliked: Nowhere did it mention the hotel was under major renovations. No lobby area and one staff member was sitting at a desk surrounded by plastic sheets hanging from ceiling and construction paper on floors. Three floors in property and the one they put us on was under construction. Other two looked completed. If we had known this we would have stayed away from the area (only two hotels to choose from) and drove each day to from golf course.Full kitchen supplied was not as mentioned, nothing to cook on in oven or microwave dishes. To use the facilities at the westin would cost $35 per person per day (pool, gym, hot tub)
