Do not book this hotel.
Disliked: My booking was cancelled two days before I was due to stay. Alternative accommodation was booked for me, but Fairways did not pay the room as they had promised to do. When the new B&B went to Fairways to resolve the issue they found it closed up. I am now trying to get a refund from Fairways.

Liked: Date of stay Friday 18th July 2025:Nothing! I turned up at this hotel only to find that it was closed down for some unknown reason!Tried to contact them by phone, but no answer.A local lady who saw me banging on the door then informed that the place has been closed for about 2 weeks!Trying to get a refund from booking.com, but they still have this hotel to book on their website!

We went elsewhere!
Disliked: We arrived at around 4pm. All doors locked and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. This is not really a hotel. Decided to write this off and find somewhere else to stay.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid...
Liked: We were unable to stay at this property due to an incredibly poor experience upon arrival.We arrived well within the advertised check-in time, only to find the hotel and restaurant completely closed. There was no staff on-site, no signage, and no clear instructions for how to check in.We tried calling the provided contact number multiple times and eventually, we managed to get in touch with the owner. He simply passed us off to his manager (without a contact number or means to contact him) and then hung up on me. This felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. The lack of basic customer service was shocking.Given the condition of the property from the outside, we were actually relieved not to stay there. It looked poorly maintained and uninviting — definitely not somewhere that lived up to expectations or its online presentation.Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The communication, or lack thereof, was unacceptable, and the property did not inspire any confidence.Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
