We would stay there again.

Liked: The bathroom was very clean. The breakast was excellent. The staff were friendly. The curtains blocked out the light.
Disliked: Just little things. The t.v on top of the wardrobe felt a little unsafe when opening the door. That there wasn't a carpet in the bedroom.

Needs major refurbishing, poor value...

Liked: Good breakfast and nice staff.
Disliked: The room was far too small for a double bed and was extremely run down. The walls were completely covered in scuff marks. The floor was broken in places. The bedside cabinets look like they came from a skip. I was shocked at the very poor state of the room for the price. Thankfully I was only staying for a night but was very disappointed.

Disliked: Small bedroom and a bit dated but was fine for the price we paid.

Nice place to stay

Liked: It was a lovely welcoming friendly place to stay . Staff were great and food was delicious. It was definitely value for money. Not 5 star but wouldn't expect that at the price it was. It was very clean.. Very near railway station and shops . I was in that area for a wedding but would stay again if I was over that way...
Disliked: The worst point for me was the floor . Very uneven and split in places but can't complain too much as it wasn't expensive and the friendly atmosphere made up for few faults..

Great location and breakfast, but...

Liked: The location was great and the staff were excellent. The staff were very helpful and were always available to help. Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: Room was a bit tired and could do with being modernized. We were a bit puzzled about soap provision. There were 2 dispensers at the sink but nothing in the bath which had a shower! I think one dispenser was soap and the other shower gel but they was nothing to distinguish them!! We used our initiative and took saucers of soap from sink to bath!
