Nice One Night Stay

Liked: The room was clean and well prepared. The balcony was a nice extra. There were blackout curtains to keep out light. The shower has excellent pressure. The hotel has a swimming pool and a bar on the first floor. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. The hotel had a large parking lot and Dunkin Donuts is right in front of it. Staff was friendly and responsive.
Disliked: The wall is a lot thinner than expected so noise control was hard. Even after 10pm, we could still hear music, TV and other noises from the surrounding rooms. The toilet had something loose. After every flush, it would need to be attended to afterwards so there wasn't that constant noise of water trying to fill up the tank. The sheets and blanket weren't the most comfortable but it was alright for a one night stay. Wifi was open so the connection was quite slow and would randomly disconnect.

This is NOT a Fairfield...

Disliked: Tried to get me to pay a $20 fee for early check in. When I refused they told me I could check in 15 minutes later. Moisture in hallways. Hairdryer smoked (two different ones in two different rooms) due to insufficient electrical capacity.

The WORST

Liked: NOTHING
Disliked: We arrived at 11pm to check in. We got our bags upstairs and went out on our paid balcony to smoke our cigarette. The room stated online it was no smoking so that’s the reason for the balcony, outside?? By 11:10 pm the owner came in front of our balcony and demanded we come downstairs to the office and pay $250.00 for smoking outside on the balcony? 7 hours on a road trip and we just want to drop ur luggage and relax? It’s like we got booked, arrested and had to bail out. No smoking wasn’t posted outside the balcony, in our room, anywhere in the building!! It’s a shakedown waiting to happen!!
