Overall, positive experience
Liked: Luxurious feel when you walk in. Friendly staff. Clean room and lovely warm water pool. Upgrade provided for next visit in response to feedback shared.
Disliked: Shower didn’t work in room. Sauna didn’t work the night we were there( wasn’t warm).

Terrible experience
Liked: Not much other than the friendly front desk attendant
Disliked: It was very dated and poorly maintained. The escalator and one of the elevators were not working. The fridge had not been cleaned out properly and it did not look like the vacuuming was thorough. The table was in rough condition as well. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had and expecting the Fairmont standard, I was very disappointed. One of my favorite things about staying at a Fairmont is the beautiful entrance and lobby. This hotel lobby was filled with very tacky decor that I found distasteful and not at all Fairmont worthy. I was treating my mother and sister to what I thought would be a special luxury stay and it was very far from that. In addition to the hotel not being great, we tried to walk to a nearby restaurant but there was street construction on both corners that made it impossible to cross the busy Main Street with my mother in her 80's. That isn't the hotel's fault but it would have been helpful to know in advance. None of these things are so bad but when associated with the Fairmont brand, totally unacceptable!
