Liked: It was clean. The views were beautiful and it was walkable to everything.
Disliked: We had a few issues along the way. Check-in wasn’t available at 3pm as stated. We got there early and checked in at noon, so front desk told us they’d text us by 3 when the room is ready which was perfectly fine. At 3:10pm I went to the concierge to check on our room status because I never got a text, and he said it still wasn’t ready and he had to call the cleaning staff to check the status. They had the room ready at 3:20pm but still inconvenient because we had to get ready for a dinner reservation we had at 4 that we ended up pushing back. Website, email, and front desk all say 3pm check-in. They blamed it on a busy night the night before and a lot of guests checking out.Room service forgot about us twice on Sunday morning after we ordered breakfast. Our order was simple, 2 lox bagels and coffee. The woman said it’d be 10-15 minutes. 1 hour passed and nothing, so I called and the man who answered said the order didn’t go through so he put a rush on it and again said 10-15 minutes. Another half hour passed and nothing. I called again because we had to leave. The woman who answered told me it was because we had a do not disturb sign on our door the first time, but she had no record of the man who I spoke to the second time putting a rush order in. She also said they tried to call me (I had no missed calls and we were in our room the entire time). They finally got us our food after 2 hours of waiting. They comped it which was nice but again, super inconvenient when we are in town for a short time and had other plans for my wife’s birthday.Cleaners came Sunday while we were waiting for our late breakfast to arrive. I turned the cleaner away because we weren’t ready to leave our room yet due to the delay, and she seems annoyed that we didn’t need her at that time. She said she had on her little tablet thing that I requested service, which I did not.
