They don’t know what they’re...
Disliked: Zero hospitality, they’re rude. Fire in the middle of the day, the couldn’t shut down the fire alarm for 4 hours and when I went manegment they basically told me to find a new hotel. Worst fairmont ever.

The staff made this stay...
Liked: A perfect location for food, transportation and shopping! The room was clean, the staff were AMAZING from the doormen to housekeeping. I hope this company treat their staff as well as the staff treats its guests.
Disliked: I know this hotel is going through renovations, and our room needs some updating for the type of luxury Fairmont is known for.

Liked: Dust everywhere in the room
Disliked: I am writing to express my concern regarding the deposit charged during my recent stay. A deposit of $700 CAD was taken at check-in, but upon check-out, only $500 CAD was returned.I would like to clarify that I did not take or use any items from the hotel during my stay. Therefore, I kindly request a detailed explanation of the $200 CAD discrepancy, and I would appreciate it if the remaining amount could be refunded promptly if there was no valid charge.

Comfortable in nice location
Liked: Central location next to the train station. Spacious room. Nice breakfast buffet options. Comfortable bed and relatively quiet for location.
Disliked: The furnishings and decor appear dated and worn. Carpet in hallways does not appear completely clean. Bar was closed. It's not the same high standards as it was when we stayed 15 years ago, nor with other Fairmont properties. Pricey.
