Will definitely be back to...
Liked: Loved the spaciousness and design of the hotel. The decor, fixtures and fittings, architecture and layout are all great. Furniture is all high end, classic, large and comfortable. Rooms are good size and very comfortable with excellent facilities. Good shower, comfy bath. Very friendly and helpful staff without exception. Food was fantastic the breakfast was especially delicious.
Disliked: Booking.com says there is a shuttle bus every day every hour to and from St Andrews from 10am to 10pm - it's a minor thing, but it doesnt run 'til 10pm every day - only weekends Thurs to Sun or maybe Fri to Sun.

Very child friendly resort.
Liked: Staff hands down makes your stay memorable. So kind and genuine. Very good with the kids and helpful. Tons of activities to do around the hotel not just golf. While I played golf, the kids played soccer, kids zone, and pool.

Liked: Rooms - friendly staff (lots of info!) and excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Little far from St Andrew’s town. Can’t think of anything else

Enjoyable really. St. Andrews and...
Liked: Good location, impressive scale inside and out, plenty of parking space, excellent breakfast area and quality provision. Good pool and Spa.
Disliked: Let down by the restaurants in the evening. La Cucina is only a bog standard Italian but charges expensive prices for very ordinary fare. Kittocks is fine for bar meals but again high end costs. By far the best is the St. Andrews club house with great views and much better food but you need to walk there, ok if the weather is fine. Wine prices in all areas are extortionate, hardly surprising no one was drinking it when prices were £60 - £140 a bottle. Don’t mind paying if the quality is there but unfortunately five star money for only three star provision.

Nice, but not the Gleneagles....
Liked: Nice standard hotel. Stunning foyer and lovely staff.
Disliked: Swimming facilities dated. Breakfast was standard. Everything was priced accordingly though - apart from the food - very expensive but tiny portions and standard quality.

Not for me
Liked: Big rooms, comfy beds. Nice pool.
Disliked: No one showed us to our room. Breakfast took forever and had to ask twice to get coffee. Very tired furniture. Too much mold in the shower in the spa area. Pretty disgusting. This is just my personal preference: I did not like the breakfast area, very open, no atmosphere, no views at all though the hotel is located at a very picturesque location.
