My fiance and I rented a gold room for the night. Upon arrival, we were met by incredibly courteous staff, who ensured everything we needed was available. The room itself was amazing and so comfortable. Upon checkout, everything was seamless and incredibly professional.
Liked: The room was exemplary; the staff were incredibly professional; the bed was superb and it was an overall wonderful experience and well worth the cost.
Disliked: This hotel has ruined all other hotels for me.

We had a wonderful weekend. The hotel was just beyond words. Fantastic location for us to be able to walk around and enjoy the downtown core. An experience that we will not soon forget!
Liked: The service we received from the staff was outstanding. The room was phenomenal!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: The building was beautiful and very clean. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and the food and staff were amazing.
Disliked: Our room was located right next to the CP rail track. We were not informed of this upon check in nor given the option to move to a different part of the hotel. We only discovered it when my husband and I were woken by the loud busy rail noise outside our window, and were kept awake ALL night until around 4.30 am. We came to the hotel for some rest away from home and children for a break, and ended up leaving more tired than when we had arrived. In the morning my husband and I paid $32 a head for a buffet breakfast. There was no bacon , sausages or mushrooms left at the buffet and so paid a high price for a scoop of scrambled eggs and two pancakes. I sent the hotel an email to let them know of our disappointment of the experience and got zero response from anyone.

Liked: Loacation/Staff friendly
Disliked: Dont like the old tubs in bathroom nor the heating--air is blowing on you all the time.

Liked: Perfect location - next to Calgary Tower and only a short walk to Glenbow museum. Easy to walk to Downtown and shopping. Airport shuttle available to hotel. Great facilities and very friendly staff.
Disliked: Door in corridor banged at night (could have been dampened) and unfortunately I had very noisy people in the room next door to me shouting/swearing and keeping me awake. This wasn?t the hotel?s fault, I was just unlucky but the walls are pretty thin.

So happy to stay at...
Liked: Loved the text when we arrived and everyone was so kind.
Disliked: The desk beside the bed. My friend hit her eye on it rolling over and now has a black eye.

It was good.
Disliked: When checking out the front desk lady was not in the best of moods. Usually the staff are great at the Palliser. She was very rude. I had a question about the parking price on the weekend. It was much higher this time than other times I've stayed there. It was $45.00/ not $19.00 like before. She said, that's what it is, I should have read the fine print on the Palliser site. Great answer I thought, really trying to not deal with it and for a first class hotel, I know the management would not want to have her handle it that way.
