A very nice property in...

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpfull. On site spa was very nice.
Disliked: Room was very small. Housekeeping did not replacement coffee or cups. Had to call and request more than once during a four night stay.

Disliked: Room is very small, bathroom small. They should improve service at the pool. No one to put out towels and clean up after people leave and there are limited seats. Have to call to order food on phone and again no one cleans up dishes when you are done.

Liked: The front desk, girl was amazing! And the bell man his name started with an E I believe he was awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Liked: We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at the Fairmont! They upgraded our room to an ocean view room and included champagne and chocolates which was such a nice touch! No issues with noise, loved hearing the ocean waves from the balcony.
Disliked: Valet parking is really expensive - pro tip is to park at the meters on the street (free overnight)!

Liked: The service was good. Location. The second room met my expectations of a 5 star hotel.
Disliked: The Bungalow is a very loud and popular bar scene. Any room facing this direction will feel the thumping, be inundated with loud and be unable to use their patios to enjoy the sunset. On Sunday, the restaurants are closed for dinner, except for the lobby.

Liked: Staff was wonderful and overall it was a wonderful short stay. The spa treatments were great! Enjoyed the lobby bar and lunch at Fig was terrific.
Disliked: Air conditioner was extremely loud in our room. They use iPads for service requests and ours was programmed to the room next door so our room service order went back to the kitchen and was delivered back cold. Called in breakfast order and it was delicious!

Liked: Did not like the noisy nightclub attached. Slow getting luggage transferred to room. Internet connection did not work until I called the front desk. Had us programmed incorrectly. Ocean view was half parking lot & half toward ocean & Santa Monica Pier.
Disliked: Falsely advertised as on the beach with picture of pool & beach behind it. That & the fact it was a Fairmont is why I paid a rate that was double other chain hotels in the area. Not on beach. Across a road, a hwy & down steps. TV in room did not work.
