Kindness and beauty!

Liked: It has been a dream of mine to stay at the CF since I was a little girl. Unfortunately, my mother was put in hospice just prior to the trip. Instead, my husband and son went to Quebec City first. When my mother passed away, and my family needed to cut short their trip, the hotel went out of their way to refund the remaining hotel nights. This wasn't a condition available to me when booking indirectly, but they did it anyway. That's just pure kindness. My dream didn't come true, but we will go back this summer and really enjoy it! My husband said the hotel was spotless, beautiful, central, and the staff were excellent.

Great location and it ends...

Liked: Great location in the heart of the city and historic site. The Sam's restaurant is decent.
Disliked: There were renovations at the site that were very noisy. The communication about the renovations was done AFTER the reservation could no longer be cancelled which is really not fair and certainly doesn't justify the price for the room that was on top of it tiny for 2 people and 2 kids. You can't even open a suitcase in the room except for on the bed! To be fair, the renovation works only started after 9 am and stopped after 5 pm. But value for money certainly very bad. Breakfast at 50$ or 24.5$ is a rip off.
