Best location in the old...

Liked: Room with a river view was a great view. Hotel was very clean and all employees were always friendly and helpful. Everyone also speaks English so lacking French was not a problem. Valet service had quick turnaround.

Liked: Photogenic - from the EXterior.
Disliked: EXTREMELY poor value. WILD overpricing sets an inordinately high expectation. The hotel disappointed at every turn.

Lovely Chateau with fantastic lobby,...

Liked: I had a beautiful view of the river and boardwalk. It is wonderful that the window actually opens for natural air. I didn't use the pool and spa but went to look and it was spacious, lots of daylight and very clean. Their "signature" soap scent is super.
Disliked: $50 for one Scotch from the room fridge.
