Liked: the location & excellent staff service & attitude
Disliked: Room light is insufficient - too dim for comfort. we experienced short circuit in room for 2 nites in a row. staff had to reset circuit breaker. Nv experienced this in a 5 star hotel before. Has expected a change in room. Our room no. 519 / 19-23 apr. Our friends in room 521 had the same problem. Tech staff was v v prompt in their service, to that we apprec. perhaps hotel electrical should be upgraded

Liked: The staff were very accommodating and enjoyed my meals at Notch8 excellent food for its value
Disliked: Air conditioner would sometimes come on which made the room coolThe air conditioner was turned off and a heater was provided by staff

Liked: Great location and superbly elegant hotel
Disliked: We had a room with a connecting door and a very loud family on the other side. It ruined our stay. Child’s unchecked crying in the middle of the night and dawn waking…. Generally the soundproofing is bad as we also heard people in the hallway

Disliked: swimming pool was a bit tired, and appeared to be astroturf in what I assume was once a hot-tub
