Disliked: Valet was not as good as it could be, got our car after others who came later

Disliked: The price too expensive. The view, the size, the smell of the carpet were not good at first. After complaining I’ve obtained upgraded for a bigger room with a better view. After that, the experience was good.

Best hotel in Ottawa!

Liked: Location was great. Byward market is literally beside the hotel. Lots of food options and very nice to walk around. Nice view of the canal. Hotel was AMAZING. Huge hotel and very clean and grand. Really feel like its worth your money. We managed to get connecting rooms as per our request which was amazing. Service was very friendly and a great experience overall. Would 100% stay here again.
Disliked: Only thing was Rideau Street tends to have a number of homeless/weird people especially at night, but guess this is very normal for Ottawa. Generally still safe.

Liked: The staff, location and rooms were lovely :)
Disliked: The bathrooms were a little small and some areas of the building could use a refurbishment (like parliament) in due time. There are some areas with dust at the top that can noticed from the MZ level.

Liked: The historic Chateau Laurier Hotel never disappoints. Excellent location, lovely rooms and exceptional staff. We couldn’t have had a better stay.

Liked: This was our second stay at your beautiful hotel! It makes us feel like we're in a storybook. It is absolutely break taking! Not only the rooms, but the beautiful swimming pool as well!
