Disliked: Very over priced and outdated in parts The hotel sign makes the front of the hotel look cheap and tacky

Liked: Nice hotel with comfortable, well-appointed rooms.
Disliked: Restaurant 178 menu was quite limited and quality was not inspiring

Disliked: The price was high for a room for one night with no breakfast. The breakfast at £18 pp is very expensive.

Welcoming reception, fabulous upgrade, disappointed...

Liked: I was given a free upgrade which was wonderful and the room was lovely. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the ingredients at breakfast was great. A nice quiet location so a good night's sleep.
Disliked: The continental selection at breakfast was limited although tasty. I did not expect at this type of hotel to have to pay extra for an additional cup of coffee at breakfast - the price is already quite high so very disappointed with that. The quality of the complimentary biscuit in the room is poor for this level of hotel along with a limited range of beverages; would have liked a wider range of herbal teas, earl gray, hot chocolate - just comparing to other 4* hotels I have stayed in.

Liked: Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful location and grounds. We had an upgrade which was amazing. I asked for a quiet room and we didn’t hear a sound!
Disliked: It was perfect.

It would be to replicate...

Liked: Very clean and very good service from the staff. From checking in to those working in the bar in the evening to those that serve breakfast. We didn’t have an evening meal as we went out but it’s a very good experience.
Disliked: Nothing, it was all good
