There are better places to...
Liked: I have stayed at Fairlawn a few times for work in the past and have always had a fantastic stay and it was a nice family owned B&B with a comfy bed and great breakfast - this time however, I can only assume it is under new ownership - I stayed for one night and checked in at 4.30pm and left the next day at 7.45am and I did not see a single member of staff. I received copious amounts of emails pre check in to tell me about how to check in but no reception or obvious signs of life. I also booked to stay here again almost solely based on having had a great breakfast here in the past but that has been done away with and you now get fruit, yogurt and some stale pastries! Just don't bother - there are cheaper and better options in Amesbury.
Disliked: No staff, underwhelming breakfast, incredibly uncomfortable bed, tired, noisy and dated room.
