Liked: A Beautiful boutique, location is great and the morning breakfast was very good.
Disliked: However, our bed was not comfortable. It was not level. Our feet were higher than our heads! We had a very poor sleep that night. Sleep is so important especially when traveling. I did inform the front desk the next morning. Given the amount of dollars spent for this hotel, this was very disappointing. We stayed in the main building.

Wonderful place, highly recommended!

Liked: Great hotel in a heritage building - this is a wonderful thing to do to preserve the core of the town. Also, very large and comfy rooms, very helpful staff, and excellent breakfast!

Liked: We booked the same day that we stayed. We had a terrible experience at a different Charlottetown hotel and the Fairholm was the perfect place to "recover" from that bad experience

Disappointing

Liked: Great location and historic charm.
Disliked: Bathroom lacked boutique charm: toilet was unlevelled and moved when you sat on it; the shower curtain looked like it came from the dollar store; the parking situation is hit and miss and we had to park on the street and then the sap and falling seeds forced us to take it to a car wash immediately; also our room wasn't ready upon check in time.
