The Spotlight on Fairhaven Guest Accommodation

Cozy, Quiet, and Close to the Music in Nottingham

Fairhaven Guest Accommodation is a no-fuss, comfortable guesthouse located in a peaceful part of Nottingham, just a short drive from the city’s biggest music venues. With free WiFi, private parking, and city views, it’s a solid base for concert-goers who want a quieter stay without straying too far from the action. Some rooms even offer a kitchenette with a microwave for added convenience.

Why Concert-goers love it

This spot is a hit with music fans thanks to its easy access to Nottingham’s top venues like the National Ice Centre and Nottingham Castle—both under 5 miles away. It's also just 12 miles from East Midlands Airport, making it a smart choice for out-of-town fans. After a loud night, the peaceful Broxtowe location is ideal for winding down. Check-in starts at 15:00, giving you plenty of time to arrive before showtime, and check-out at 10:30 keeps things simple the next day.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for affordable rooms with extra space
  • Solo travelers catching a long-awaited gig
  • Couples planning a relaxed concert weekend
  • Fans needing post-show peace and quiet
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who’d rather spend cash on merch

Food and Drink Options

Start your recovery right with a full English, continental, or vegetarian breakfast served daily. While there’s no on-site restaurant, some rooms include a kitchenette with microwave, perfect for midnight snacks. Plus, several local pubs and takeaways are just a short stroll or drive away.

Nightlife Options

Fairhaven isn’t a party hotel, but if you’re after nightlife, you’re only a cab ride from Nottingham’s vibrant bar and club scene. Whether you want a pint of local ale or a stylish cocktail, there’s plenty waiting downtown. Then come home to a quiet night’s sleep.

What People Say

Guests love the friendly staff, spotless rooms, and free parking—a huge perk in Nottingham. Many mention the quiet atmosphere and great value for money, especially for event-goers who just need a comfy place to crash.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note the early check-out time of 10:30 can feel rushed after a late night, and not all rooms include kitchenettes. There’s also no 24/7 front desk, so late arrivals should plan ahead.

The Bottom Line

If you're looking for a quiet, affordable place to recharge after a concert in Nottingham, Fairhaven Guest Accommodation hits the right note.

Adequate for our short stay.

Liked: Location, near the station.
Disliked: Room needs updating, curtain and sheets had tears in them. Could have done with a small fridge to keep milk and drinks cold.

Lovely staff, clean, cosy room

Liked: Really friendly welcome, breakfast smelt great (I had to go as they were cooking), clean room, good parking, nice area and location. I walked to the nearby marina and had a drink in the sun.
Disliked: The room felt pretty cosy with 70% of the space affected by the roof. No window (but there was a skylight).

Poor

Liked: Very little. The single room was tiny. My issue was £45 for the room shoukd have have had a shower instead of a shared bathroom. The breakfast was excellent for the £5 charge however
Disliked: The tiny room and no shower. Saying that it was only 45 quid with a very god breakfast. If your not bothered about an onsuite bathroom then it's okay

Good

Liked: It was clean and the location was near the hockey centre which is what we needed. There is some off road parking but it's quite tight.
Disliked: Cold shower on the Saturday evening, not so bad because it was in a heatwave. It was hot on Sunday morning. Not a great night's sleep but that's again probably more to do with it being so hot and needing to keep the window open by a road. The place was quite tired.Breakfast wasn't available until 8am which was too late for my start on the Saturday.
