Disappointing

Disliked: No top sheet, only bed spread. Does this get washed?

They bumped my reservation.

Liked: I have stayed here before, many times, in fact. Place is a bit run down but has always been clean. Doubt I'll book with them again due to their incompetence.
Disliked: Bad record keeping on reservations. I booked my room some weeks before my stay. I even called the two weeks prior to confirm that my reservation was secure and received an affirmative answer. HOWEVER, a couple of days before I we due to stay they called me late in the evening and told me I was being bumped due to over bookings. because it was too late to find alternate booking so close to my appointment in Monroe. I had to cancel my trip and lost several hundred dollars in sales as a result. These people need to learn how to run a motel properly.

Liked: The guy at the desk was plesant
Disliked: Bed was horrid, bedspread was not clean, and matress was aged and very thin. Toilet seat was completely broken off. Room smelled very musty.I expected a good motel for $267 a night.

Disgusting Stay

Liked: Nearby services.
Disliked: 1) Filthy. 2) Room was never serviced. 3) Exterior garbage was overflowing and never taken out. 4) Breakfast was non-existent. The items that were offered never changed from day to day. 5) Front desk employees were not engaging or friendly. 5) The bed was old, uncomfortable and breaking down. 6) There were no bed clothes options. The pillows were uncomfortable, no additional covers were available. 7) There was no phone or alarm clock in the room. 8) The TV was broken and set on a broken down credenza which was too low to be seen from the bed. 9) There was no floor mat in the bathroom. 10) The room refrigerator was not cleaned and food was left in it from a previous tenant.I could go on ...

Liked: Not much to like. Not as advertised. Location was pretty good.
Disliked: Not as advertised. All the floors were sticky, Heat not working. No fan. Smelled of human retching on the bed area floor. Fridge leaked and did not freeze in the ice box. EVERYTHING was sticky, walls, remote, counters... Chairs were heavily stained harbored a smell. No kitchen as displayed in the ad. Pictures did not match at all. Parking was tight. Beams holding the second story are rotten and patched with undersized supports. Will be a dangerous collapse.
