Overall good, just little things...
Liked: I liked our room, and it felt like a hotel hotel. Not like an Inn, but a hotel. I liked the free water, and cookies, that came along with our arrival as well. it was very very clean.
Disliked: The remote was very sticky, and very hard to switch through channels, the breakfast staff did much more socializing with themselves and some regulars that I couldn't ask them a question or there was a lot of food items missing that shouldve been replaced. Our room needed atleast 2 more blankets but there was none in the closet. There was also a little piece of the tile that was starting to come up in the bathroom, that cut my foot a little.

Liked: The placement of the bed in the king suite is in a safe location for women traveling alone.

Love the friendliness of everyone, location close to family, the pool , breakfast and warm chocolate chip cookies are wonderful!

My stay was fine until...
Liked: The pool and whirlpool were warm and well maintained.
Disliked: I was double charged when I presented cash upon check in. Neither the front desk staff nor general manager took responsibility for their error. I was left with no cash to continue my travel on a holiday weekend with my daughter. They held the entire price of the stay plus an incidental charge that they did not reverse. When I emailed and called I was offered no resolution from the hotel staff or general manager Karen Vannier who responded with an email a day later and suggested I call my bank (which was not open fir another three days given the holiday weekend). I was desperate with no way to continue my travel and found the corporate customer service line a day later which did not do anything to fix the situation except to give me a Marriott account for a free stay at one of their mid-level hotels. I?ve traveled extensively for 20 years and have never experienced a company that does so little to help with a valid concern. To say the least, I was sincerely unimpressed. Offering a future nights stay did not fix the issue at hand of the clerks mistake in double charging me... and the customer service I got from all of the people I contacted to help me when I was in a dire situation was mediocre and cold. I wouldn?t stay at another Marriott property again, even for free.
