A disappointment

Disliked: I was very disappointed with the hotel; it was not what I expected at all. It is under a major renovation and there is dust and noise all over. To get to the front desk you have to squeeze by. Instead of the advertised promised breakfast, there was only a grab and go option. The advertised pool was unavailable. Also, no one even came to make my bed! When I spoke to the front desk about it (in the evening) the woman was very curt and unapologetic. The only person who treated me with respect was a women who is training to work there. I would not recommend this hotel.

Threatened by a front desk...

Liked: Everything could have been great, place was clean, not smoked in, quiet enough 3 out of 4 staff interactions were good.
Disliked: The overnight staff, after I inquired about a USBC charged threatened to call the police on me and subsequently refused to provide her name. After inquiring her name multiple times she said it was Karen. The staff on the next shift informed me her name is Nazerine. The front desk person overnight made me feel unsafe and not welcome. Thanks for triggering panic and PTSD at my expense.
