Everything was great from the time I checked in until I checked out. All of my needs were met. The room was clean to my satisfaction and the amenities were great. I would definitely utilize this hotel again when I am in Columbus.
Liked: Everything.
Disliked: Nothing.

Stayed here for a visit to OSU for 2 nights. Overall, just an average property - guess I expected a little more. Basic room - was clean and everything in working order in the room. Disappointed there was not a fridge in the room - that would be a nice addition. Pool is very small, one of the smallest I have seen in a hotel of this type. Hot tub not working during my stay. Breakfast offerings are adequate, but I felt it was not as good as what I might find elsewhere. Might not stay here again if I find something else in the same price range.
Liked: Clean; good location.
Disliked: No fridge; hot tub not working.

Liked: The staff at the front desk were not friendly and it didn't seem like they were very interested in helping us. They were more concerned with socializing with each other. On the other hand the staff at the breakfast were very friendly. The room was clean and was perfect for two people.

BED BUGS. Terrible customer service....
Liked: The location was fine, and the room was fine... until it wasn't. I was getting ready for bed and went to turn the light off, and there on my bed was a BED BUG. It was crawling around up at the top of the bed. I immediately called the front desk and the woman at the desk did do their best to accommodate me at that time- they changed my room and gave me an "upgrade" to a suite, which was fine, however this was at 12:30 in the morning and I was checking out the next morning, so a suite wasn't exactly needed. I would have left that night but since it was the middle of the night, I really didn't have another option. However, besides the fact that there was an actual bed bug (alive) in my bed, customer service was terrible the next morning by the front desk manager.
Disliked: Considering there was an actual BED BUG in my bed- it was alive and crawling around, and when I went to kill it, it smeared blood (see pictures), and I had to change rooms at 12:30 at night, I would have thought I would have been compensated for the night. The front desk manager told me that the "best they could do" was give me $50.00 off my stay, and actually said that I should be glad that I even was getting that since they "couldn't prove where the bed bugs came from." She was very rude, demeaning, unprofessional and just outright not nice. I literally NEVER complain, I always leave positive and nice reviews... but this was beyond rude and unprofessional. She actually said that I'm lucky to get $50 plus "an upgrade to a suite" and she said "I'm not trying to be offensive, but maybe you brought the bed bug in". She was very rude, and I will certainly never be staying at one of these hotels again and hope others see this review to see where they are staying at. To not be compensated for the night, and then to be treated that way, is just plain wrong. Shame on you Fairfield Suites for treating customers that way.

Liked: The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The only issue we encountered was the in room coffee maker and coffee. The tray that comes in the coffee pack was too small for the coffee maker. So we could not brew the coffee. Unfortunately we had to be at the hospital for my surgery before the breakfast area was open and had to get her coffee elsewhere. That was the only minor inconvenience.

Great stay, close to OSU,...
Liked: Rooms were clean and comfortable; good location to OSU and campus. There was a shuttle , we didn't need it but it was good to know it was there. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful!
Disliked: All was good.
