Our girls vacation getaway!

Liked: Everything else was great and the other staff members were very helpful and courteous, especially Jeff, the pool man, "sorry I can't remember his name and the young lady at the front desk on the day shift "I can't remember her name either "but she's the one that called the police to warn them that she was having problems with the people who were trying to access the pool and trying to get guests to get drugs! She went above and beyond to help us and so did Jeff and the pool man! KUDOS TO ALL 3 OF THEM..
Disliked: The girl that works the front desk at night that wears the crocheted hat is extremely rude and told me when I came to get coffee "she was told that she couldn't make it until a particular time each day "! I found that very hard to believe because I'm a Marriott Rewards Member and I've never had an issue with getting coffee anytime of day or night and it being available for the guests! She also never had a mask on while I was staying at the hotel but she told me that I was required to have one on! My problem with that is I have chronic asthma and also COPD which I carry and keep the medical papers from my doctor with me at all times that states that it makes harder for me to breathe with a mask! I would appreciate if someone in management could address these issues with her! Another problem was that there were several people who had approached us out by the pool asking us if we needed to buy any drugs, then there were 8 to 10 people who were trying to get access to the pool after they had been kicked out of the Super 8. The young lady up at the front desk came to the pool immediately and called the police. After that we felt very uncomfortable with staying there but the day time front desk clerk was so understanding and assured us we would be ok and if we needed anything for us to use the pool phone! The night clerk at the front desk needs some help with her people skills and she needs to be wearing a mask like everyone else! Disappointing

Liked: The inside of the facility was nice, staff at front desk was nice also.
Disliked: With covid being rampant there wasn?t good communication about housekeeping not coming by the room daily. Had to get towels and replace trash etc. The first night was very loud on our floor so much that it woke up my 6 year old which never happens. Lots of banging and noise in the halls called the front but went on for nearly two hours 130-4am. The pool was always at max capacity only able to swim the last day. While swimming homeless person jumped the fence and into the pool while my daughter was swimming. We left and notified the front desk. Was asked twice for money in the parking lot by homeless man and woman. Have stayed at many Fairfield inns being military and always on the road but this was probably my worst experience so far. The staff tried but my family and I didn?t feel safe and had I not been at the pool and it had just been my daughter I?m not sure what she would?ve done. I?ll be more than happy to speak with anyone at the facility about our stay.

It was nice overall, and...

Liked: The cleanliness and staff were wonderful. Rooms were nice and beds comfy.
Disliked: Umm, breakfast was in a bag. I?m sure due to Covid, but other hotels still offered their buffet with precautions. Pool closed at 8.

Great stay!

Liked: Everything was good even with the new normal (covid) i felt They took the proper precautions to make sure everything was clean and safe.
Disliked: With COVID-19 the pool was limited usage which is fine but would suggest a time limit as people get in pool. They had a 10 people limit which was great but people are considerate of others and don?t get out. So having a time limit will help ensure all guest are accommodated.
