Modern, comfortable, and refreshingly colorful, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach is the perfect stay for music lovers exploring Wilmington. Just a short drive from UNC Wilmington and Wilmington International Airport, this hotel offers easy access to local concert venues, while keeping you close to the beach for some daytime relaxation. With a welcoming vibe and thoughtful amenities, it’s a great home base for your music-filled getaway.
Concert-goers appreciate the hotel’s central location—just minutes from downtown Wilmington’s venues and a short ride to Wrightsville Beach’s summer music events. After a late show, you’ll love the quiet rooms and plush bedding for a restful night. The flexible 12:00 PM checkout gives you extra time to recover, while the on-site fitness center and indoor pool offer a great way to unwind. Getting around is easy with rideshares and reliable local transport options.
While there’s no on-site restaurant, the Surfside Express helps you order delivery from local favorites—perfect for late-night cravings. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily, ideal for a slow start after a big night. Coffee makers in-room and nearby eateries within walking distance mean you’re always covered on the food front.
While the hotel itself is more about relaxing than partying, you're just a short drive from Wilmington’s vibrant bars, music lounges, and beachside hangouts. Whether you're into craft beer spots or laid-back cocktail lounges, you'll find a scene that suits your post-show vibe.
Some guests note that the hotel is slightly set back from the downtown core—so a car or rideshare is helpful for late-night returns. Others mention that while the breakfast is convenient, it could use a few more hot options. But overall, these are minor trade-offs for the price and comfort.
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach is a smart, comfortable pick for concert-goers who want a quiet, welcoming stay near Wilmington’s venues and beachside fun.

Liked: Clean, close to areas of interest.
Disliked: Coffee, poor quality, like most hotels. Might as well gave a Keurig with high quality options.

Fresh & Hot!!
Liked: Good location to the beach, museums, restaurants & shopping. Breakfast was very good, the food was fresh & hot.
Disliked: We were in a room that connects to another, and we could hear them laughing & talking. We didn't know them. On my next stay I would ask not to have a connecting room.
