Exceptional

Liked: Wonderful hotel. Good location. Breakfast had a good variety of selections.
Disliked: Room cost was very high for time of year and the current construction on the beach that went all throughout the overnight hours.

Pleasant place but not peaceful...

Liked: Although it might have been lovely without the all-night dredging of the beach, complete with flashing lights, engines roaring and lots of beeping sounds for both of our two-night stay, had we known ahead of time, this we would have chosen a different location.
Disliked: On Easter weekend many city activities were in full swing and it was extremely crowded even late at night, with a heavy police presence, with road blocks and lots of flashing lights. We had to plead with the police to let us get back into the hotel at night because the entire block was blocked off from traffic.

Stay was great. Not knowing...

Disliked: There was construction on the beach right in front of the hotel. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time to change my expectations. I am unable to walk far distances sometimes. I was only able to enjoy the beach 1 time due to the extra walking it took to get to the beach because of how much was closed due to construction. If told ahead of time, I could have brought my cane to make it easier!

Liked: Ithe hotel was on the Ocean front as advertised, staff was very nice, the breakfast was good, beds very comfortable, room was clean
Disliked: The hotel had a smell, I don't know what it was but it wasn't a fresh smell....maybe carpet. The exercise room was tiny with little equipment
