Beautiful property, great value!
Liked: Beautiful property, spotlessly clean, huge room with microwave, very cold refrigerator, nice toiletries. Very quiet rooms, easy location with lots of shops, restaurants etc. nearby. Breakfast buffet was pretty good (just not quite as shown on the website). Scrambled eggs were hot and fluffy; excellent porridge and the best hotel coffee I've had anywhere.
Disliked: Pillows are a little soft and we didn't receive any WiFi information, but overall this was a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay here again.

If you're queer, avoid this hotel. It was clean and functional for sleeping, but overpriced.
Liked: It was clean and functional.
Disliked: I'm visibly queer (and trans). When my partner and I arrived, the person at the front desk was friendly when she saw my partner (who passes as a cis man) but as soon as I entered the lobby, she looked very irritated. I had booked our hotel very late in the evening as we were driving a long ways and wanted to make sure we'd make it all the way to the hotel. We arrived at 3:45am and when I told the front desk staff person I wanted to check in, she very dramatically looked at her watch and told us that their system had done some kind of room check at 3am so our room was cancelled and a King suite was no longer available. I asked if they had any other rooms and after "checking" she told us there was a double queen room available. How could this hotel in the middle-of-no-where Texas have someone come in between 3-3:45am to take up the "last" king room? I've never experienced this at a hotel before but it felt incredibly obvious that she was trying to find a way to not serve us/make us leave but probably wasn't allowed to do so overtly. The front desk staff was an older white woman with longer gray hair. When I checked out, the rest of the staff were completely respectful.
