Passable
Liked: We were moved next door to Hampton inn and Suites. The room met our needs
Disliked: Really disappointed that all the cups, plates, utensils and wrappings for breakfast were single use and trashed. The hotel could do so much better if it were environmentally conscious.

Seem to have a Housing/Rehab...
Liked: Room was really nice, but did not feel safe in the hotel itself
Disliked: Security Everywhere, people wondering drunk around hotel floors, police at hotel and women yelling homophobic slurs outside

Liked: Proximity to airport
Disliked: 1. Tony was at the front desk to check me in; he was arrogant and almost impolite. He assigned me to room 448, a smoker's room that was filthy, as evidenced by the dust under my feet and the footprints in the shower. There was also a strong smell of stale cigarettes! I requested a room swap and was thankfully moved to room 650, which was cleaner and smelt better. 2. The air conditioner was not cooling; it kept going off, and I woke up sweating. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and when I finally fell asleep, I awoke with a body ache and was not well rested. 3. Breakfast was served in the basement room, which made me wonder why we were separated from others dining in the lobby when asked if we moved from another hotel to the Crowne. The food was so basic and stale that I swear I was eating food intended for the homeless or prisoners. I am very disappointed, and this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth!

Exceptional
Liked: They said there was some kind of an emergency and my reservation was cancelled. They rebooked me to the Crowne and told me I would be charged the same amount over there. We had a glorious stay at the Crowne, where the beds were so comfortable, we didn't want to get up.
Disliked: Can't complain

Overall we enjoyed our stay...
Liked: Breakfast was fine a lot of variety of choices.
Disliked: Our room was 1116, after flushing the toilet the water is not filling up the tub for another flush. I forgot to report it but we know how to handle it anyway. Not too bad though. Still a good one.

Liked: Quiet despite close to airport , clean and everything works !Modest continental breakfast
Disliked: Parking charges at $28/night was not disclosed when booking for this hotel We did discovered street parking infront of the hotel was absolutely free of charge, only after paying for 3 day parking

Dubious credit card holds.
Liked: Proximity to the airport, friendly helpful team, comp shuttle service and breakfast.
Disliked: Double dip charging. Ok to put an C$80 hold on a card, but to find out they have actually taken the money three days prior and have the gaul to not deduct that from the actual agreed tariff on checkout - but to charge the entire quoted sum plus taxes.When challenged they said “oh it’s just been released but might take 3-5 days to go back to your bank”…This messes with currency wallet management in my card while transmitting.Dubious practice. They say it’s standard.9 weeks in Canada and Europe 2024 a hold was just that, and cleared real time.Marriott - think again.
