Pleasant

We had a nice day...

Liked: It’s a very nice motel and a great location. We usually stay at some form of Marriott and this one is in line with what they usually offer.
Disliked: The air conditioning in the hallways apparently was broken and remained so all weekend long. Floor fans were set about to alleviate the heat, but there’s only so much a floor fan can do so walking in the hallways was unpleasant. The swimming pool was horrible. It was an indoor pool. It was so cloudy. You couldn’t even see the steps and the smell of chlorine was so strong. Your eyes burned. That needs to be rectified. I didn’t even try to swim. I was afraid the amount of chlorine would fry my skin off my bones.

Disliked: While I was notified at check-in there was no WIFI, TV and they were not able to create an access key. The staff escorted me to my room. It was s add one night stay. I did not want to start looking for another place At 5:30 after driving 8+ hours. I made it work; however it raised questions around the Marriott standards.

Only good thing was friendly...

Liked: Night front desk person and Deborah, the am cook. Both were very pleasant and hard working.
Disliked: Room 133 needed updating. Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The air unit flashed a blue light into the room constantly. And old rusty air units right outside the window were a terrible sight to see. At least put up a small fence or something. Way over priced.
