Very comfortable and friendly hotel,...

Liked: Modern and comfy business hotel in pretty good location. Friendly staff, very well equipped Fitness room, beautiful indoor pool, great breakfast. Our stay was almost perfect, only the Wifi let us down.
Disliked: There are very few hotel brands in the US that seem to be unable providing access to the internet, unfortunately the Fairfield Inn & Suites is one of them. We are frequent travelers and have been struggling with this unspeakable msftconnecttest access also at Holiday Inns before. You simply cannot connect laptops to the Wifi (cellphones are easier), which can be really awkward on a business trip with conference calls scheduled. Sorry to say - this is a dealbreaker.

Liked: Breakfast was good. The workout room was only moderately equipped, but I'm glad they had an elliptical. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Our biggest complaint is that we couldn't make the room comfortable. It was either warm and humid or freezing and clammy. When I asked for a printed receipt, the woman at the desk was not happy about it.

We travel a lot, but...

Liked: The concierge was friendly.
Disliked: The night shift manager was awful. I don't know why this person has decided to go in hospitality business: dismissing and not caring. When at 1:30 in the morning I came downstairs to ask her about the outside loud noise, her response was: What noise? If it is not on our property, we cannot control it. When I pointed to the crew of workers (at 1:30 am washing the driveway, with a compressor making incredible noise, in a fast food restaurant just 300-400 feet away from the hotel), and said my only option would be to call the police, she said "go ahead". So, I ended up spending about 45 min outside waiting for the police who came and took care of the situation sending the workers home. Could the Fairfield hotel manager have done this (everyone who was not yet asleep in the hotel that night heard that noise)? Yes. Just like I did. Hotel room that had one king bed and a sleeper sofa was just terrible: small, uncomfortable and impossible to sit three people at the table. There was simply no room for three.

Liked: Staff at the front desk was kind.
Disliked: I had to kill multiple cock roaches, bigger than a quarter, in my room. We arrived around midnight and saw them within the first hour. I left them there for housekeeping to see. We were very disappointed. Other than that, it was okay.

Liked: The location being away from the interstate was very nice. It was nestled in a beautiful tree lined area that was very peaceful.
Disliked: I don’t believe there was anything at all that we didn’t like.
