Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Louis Downtown

A surprise exceptional stay

Liked: The hotel was clean and very well maintained. Loved that there was connected parking. It was within walking distance to several downtown attractions and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing

Disappointing

Liked: Loved the location and the beds/pillows were very comfortable.
Disliked: We checked in on a Friday evening. The staff from about 5 -11:00 were not very nice. They seemed to be very stuck up when my husband asked questions regarding the bar ( if they took cash and what their prices were) , then when we returned around 10:30 from our concert which we walked to my husband went to the gastation afterwards , we lost our parking spot no big deal figured they had alternative parking areas since they charge per night for parking ,no they didn't, and the staff were very rude when I called down to ask suggestions where he should park. He ended up parking almost two blocks down in another hotel parking lot. Had to walk back in down pouring rain. Which again no big deal but the staffs attitude was very uncalled for.

Liked: Large rooms very clean and close to everything. At check out I was greeted and was explained to how to exit parking and return my room card. She was so sweet.
Disliked: The parking, I paid for the parking pass. We got back late from the concert and got really lucky there was one left. At check in the girl that helped me was kinda rushing me. My card was declined I told her my room was already paid for. I tried to show her my receipt she said to just put my card in again.
