Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Portland North

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was nice and clean, the continental breakfast had lots of choices and they had a nice pool and hot tub. The only down fall was that they did not have maps of the local Max Transit system, which is an easy and important way they advertised to get to downtown Portland.

Great Stay with Friendly Staff

Liked: The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first room had a bad air conditioning unit and they moved us immediately. We also needed extra towels and coffee for the room and they had them ready for us to pick up each time we returned to the hotel. The breakfast had a great selection and very good. The location was great for what we needed.
Disliked: N/A

Disliked: We were located at an on-ramp. Request an odd number room. One slow elevator!!

Liked: The staff were so helpful and friendly. I have food allergies and the staff in the breakfast area were so helpful in helping me navigate what would be a good fit.

Very Disappointed

Liked: Staff very rude
Disliked: The front desk wasn’t welcoming professionally, She explain timing from breakfast only ,but nothing about hotel facilities. She refused to provide receipts for charges in my check in. The breakfast attendant was extremely rude ,banging things and turning lights off 9:30am sharp to let us know the timing for breakfast is finish. Since 9am the breakfast buffet have emptied trays and don’t supply anymore fruits, coffee container was empty. A very rude lady was inside the breakfast room taking a big bag of all fruits, breads, cereals etc to take it out without anyone from the hotel controlling anything.
