Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Omaha West

Liked: Convenient to venue; quiet and clean.
Disliked: Breakfast could include more selection.

Very clean place but you...

Liked: It was clean and neat. I loved having homemade oatmeal available for breakfast.
Disliked: We were next to the elevator and that was irritating. I was woken up at 6am and heard it every few seconds from then on. I’m not happy about that. I also heard a dog bark.

Liked: That I found a room in town - everything booked up due to College World Series and the kids' World Series.
Disliked: First, our suite was given away before I checked in and we ended up with a handicap room - however, since I was in the disability industry, I could educate them. Then, because I didn't request (??) that the fold out sofa be set up with linens... and they couldn't find any, we had to make due. Shower small and water hardly came out. Also the refrigerator froze everything... not good when you are diabetic and it freezes the insulin. We had to devise our own way as no one came up when we asked. The breakfast probably would have been good except eggs were cold, the college World Series people and kids are everything..... and so, we had to go out for breakfast. Was not like my usual stays at Fairfield.

Good location; nice, clean hotel.

Liked: Great location with plenty of shopping and food nearby.
Disliked: No hot water in my room; had to move to a new room at 8 pm. (Although staff member was very helpful to find me a new room.)

Liked: It was very quiet, located close to food and shopping and very clean.
Disliked: Our bed was very uncomfortable. Definitely needed a mattress upgrade and a few minor repairs to the room.
